PSYCH 2304: Adulthood and Aging The Psychology Department of Emmanuel College is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach one section of PSYCH 2304: Adulthood and Aging for the Fall 2021 semester. This course offers a comprehensive view of the research and theory pertaining to the developmental tasks of adulthood and the later adult years. The focus is on normal adjustment processes, both biological and psychological, from young adulthood, through mid-life, to the end stages of life. Topics will include the biological process of aging, changes in emotional and cognitive functions, relationships, parenting, mid-life crises, life choices as to occupation and retirement, coping and adaptation. This course will meet in person on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 to 5:45PM. A Master's degree in psychology or a related field is required. Teaching, research and/or professional experience in the health Psychology field is preferred. PSYCH 2304: Adulthood and Aging
