Reporting to the Vice President of Student Affairs, the Director of Student Involvement will serve as a catalyst for co-curricular program development, student involvement and student leadership development. the Director will oversee the office of Student Involvement in selecting, training and supervising the Associate and Assistant Directors as well as supporting and facilitating leadership development for students including workshops, recognition and conference attendance. Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to; budget oversight, management of the Engage Platform system, development of department policies, maintaining the campus events calendar, and serving as the main point of contact for commuter students. The Director will also be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the Jean Yawkey Center.


The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Student Personnel, Counseling, Higher Education Administration or a related field along with seven to ten years of post-graduate experience in Student Affairs. Candidates should have a proven track record of serving as a role model for a diverse student constituency.
